Who we are

LeaseCraft ("we", "us") operates this website, which helps small landlords create residential lease agreements and related documents. Payments on this site are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, which handles checkout, tax and billing on our behalf.

What we collect

• Your lease answers — the details you enter while building a document — stay in your own browser. We do not receive or store them until you purchase a document and a generated copy needs to be delivered to you.
• Your email address, when you provide it (purchase receipts, document delivery, or launch notifications you explicitly ask for). We do not add you to marketing lists you didn't opt into.
• Payment information is collected and processed by Lemon Squeezy as our merchant of record. We never see or store your card number; we receive only the fact that a payment succeeded and enough detail to let you re-download your purchase.
• Signature audit trails — for electronically signed documents, we record each signer's name, email, signature method, UTC timestamp and IP address, bound to the signed document. This is what makes your e-signature defensible; you can read about it on our Terms page.
• Server logs — standard, short-lived web server logs kept for security and abuse prevention.

What we don't do

• We don't sell, rent or trade personal data. Period.
• We don't run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

Analytics & cookies

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors. No consent banner is needed because there is nothing to consent to. If this ever changes, this policy will change first.

How long we keep things

Signed documents and their audit trails are kept for up to 7 years so your document remains verifiable — this retention is a feature, and we say so in our Terms. Purchase records are kept for tax and refund purposes. Everything else (analytics, logs) is kept only as long as operationally necessary.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion — except where we must keep signed documents and their audit trails for the retention period described above, or keep purchase records for tax law. To exercise any of these rights, contact us as described below. If you are in the EU/UK or California, you have these rights under GDPR/CCPA respectively, and we honour them for all visitors regardless of where you live.
