LeaseCraft started with a simple annoyance: sites that advertise a "free lease agreement" and then quietly charge $49 a month after a 7-day trial. Small landlords — the people renting out a house, a duplex, a few units — kept calling it out in reviews. The tools were useful; the pricing was a trap.
