How it works
Answer simple questions
Property, rent, deposit, pets, occupants. We turn your answers into the right clauses for your state — plain language in, legal language out.
Preview the whole lease
Read every clause before you pay a cent. State-required disclosures and deposit limits are included automatically.
Sign online & download
Pay once ($19), e-sign with your tenant, and download the signed PDF with an audit trail. Yours to keep, forever.
Built for small landlords, not property managers
State-specific clauses
Deposit caps, disclosure requirements and notice rules for your state — kept current, cited in plain English.
E-signing included
ESIGN/UETA-compliant signing for both parties with an audit trail — no DocuSign envelope fees, no "e-sign costs extra".
One honest price
$19 per lease, once. Not "free trial", not $49/month after 7 days, not a phone call to cancel. You keep the document forever.
Renewal & notice letters
Lease renewal, rent increase and notice letters from $9 — because leases are a once-a-year job, not a subscription.
Lease agreements by state
Four states live now — California, Texas, Florida, New York. Six more are in statute verification.

Frequently asked questions
Is LeaseCraft really free?
Building your lease and previewing the full document is free. You pay only once — $19 — to unlock the PDF download and online e-signing. There is no subscription and no auto-renewal, and we never ask for a credit card just to try it. (Launch pricing: the first 100 customers pay $12 per lease, for life.)
Is an electronic signature legally binding?
Yes. Under the federal ESIGN Act and state UETA laws, an e-signature is generally as enforceable as a handwritten one for residential leases. Every signature is bound to the document, and both parties get a signed copy plus an audit trail.
Do you provide legal advice?
No. LeaseCraft is a self-help software tool, not a law firm. Our state templates are built from official state-published resources and statutes, but only you (and, if you wish, your attorney) can decide if a document fits your situation.
Which states do you support?
We're live in four states — California, Texas, Florida and New York — with six more (Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan) rolling out as each state's current statutes are verified. Every template includes that state's required disclosures and deposit rules.
What exactly do I get for $19?
A print-ready PDF of your lease, online e-signing for both parties, a signature audit trail, 30 days of free re-edits, and unlimited re-downloads of the signed document. Optional add-ons: renewal and notice letters from $9, or the landlord bundle (lease + 3 letters) for $29.
What if something goes wrong?
If you could not complete your document because of a problem on our side, contact us and we will make it right or refund you — no dark patterns, no fighting with support bots.
